Now, we wait for our social worker to actually write the entire home study. We will then send it to our International agency for review and then we will submit our finalized home study to USCIS (U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services). This process is to determine our eligibility and suitability to adopt a child from a Hague Convention Country. Once this is approved, we'll be sending home study and Dossier documents to India. This process could take up to 90 days. I pray that it doesn't, but we'll see.
Can we just get a baby already?!

Congratulations. This is one fo the most intense times because the ball is actually in your court- preparing your papers and doing your appointments. Soon, you'll be in the "wait" phase which is exciting (you're closer to your baby!) but leaves you longing and twiddling your thumbs. Similar to what Gidget wrote, I understand- "Can we just have our Dorothy, yet?!". No one likes waiting. I like thinking about how God uses the "waiting" for His purpose. In fact, I need to thank Him for it right now (I've been far to grumbly lately).
