It just dawned on me today that it has already been a year since we began our adoption journey and made the first post on our adoption blog! Wow! So Happy Adoption Blogiversary to us!
So much has happened in that time frame already. We've had ups and downs, acceptances, approvals, road blocks, speed bumps, set backs, filled out mounds of paper work and had our lives evaluated by so many people. God has changed me...and the way I think about adoption and the orphan. In a good way of course. I have learned so much that I don't think that I am the same person that I was a year ago.
As of right now, we know nothing. We are still waiting for consulate approval and I have heard nothing from our agency. Please pray for us with this next approval so we can move toward a baby referral. I am so anxious to be in that place of anticipating a call about a baby!
Thanks so much.
As a way of celebrating our one year blogiversary....please leave a comment and give me a shout out! I would love to know if you are following us. Would also love to know whether or not you have already adopted, in the process or even thinking about it. Would love to connect more with all of you out there!!
Blessings,

Your testimony has been such an encouragement to all of us. Remember the Lord's timing is P.E.R.F.E.C.T. It's possible your baby hasn't bene born yet :) How exciting!! I look forward to each of your updates and will continue to pray for this sweet little one.

Hey Brittnie! I'm still following your blog faithfully! :) I haven't been blogging much but I still love to blog stalk. No new adoptions on the horizon for me but am planning a trip to India this Sept to volunteer in an orphanage with a few other gals. Care to join me?? ;) Hope this year brings tons of progress on your adoption and who knows...maybe you'll even have your baby girl home by the end of the year. I'll be praying!

Hey guys! Hope you are doing well! We will continue to pray for you guys and this new little one! BTW, did you just create a new word with blogiversary??? I am NOT in to the blogging world yet, so maybe I am just behind times. This is such a great way to let folks know what is going on! I applaud you! Much love to all you guys! I know you are spilling over with joy about the ATL SX, right??? On the other hand, for us it is one of the highlights of the year. Oh yeah, big, big bonus...PAPPASITOS baby!!! Peace, bb
Isn't it amazing what God can do in our lives in only one year? Walking through this process with you has been so exciting. Yet sometimes it seems more like a snails pace, that's when God reminds us that it's all about HIS timing not ours. Can't wait to get my hands on this precious baby girl that we have all prayed for.
Love you!
Happy Blogiversary! I enjoy following your blog and am eager to continue following your adoption journey! We are anxiously awaiting for the courts to give us guardianship so we can bring our Abby home from India!
Blessings,
Jenny

HI,
I'm not sure how I found your blog but I've been following for just the past few months. We have adopted one son from China. I've had it on my heart to adopt from India since before then but I thought it was next to impossible to adopt from India unless you have Indian heritage, which we don't.
