Some Bloggy-Changes

As we round the corner of this adoption and make our way to our sweet daughter Bella, I decided to update the blog a little..... and give it a new look!! I have also created a new blog "button". I would love it if you would grab the html code for our button and share it on your blog or website. We would love to invite as many that would like to join us on our journey and watch God continue to do AMAZING things as we bring our Bella HOME!!!

**update**
We received news that "they" are still behind in processing adoption paper work. What should take about 15-30 days to process is taking 90+ days for us. We ask that you continue to pray for us as we wait for God's perfect timing to bring Bella home

Some really exciting news about what God is doing in the waiting and some new pictures of our girl to come SOON!

Ind*a 1,269,210 square miles, which makes it the 7th largest geographical country. Put Alaska, California, and Texas together and you have about the same size.

It has almost 3 times the population of America, and is considered the second most populated country.

The people, the country and the land are beautiful.

In 2006 only 3,332 were adopted.

Last year only 236 children were adopted.

Recent studies show that Ind*a has the largest number of AIDS orphans in the world, even over Africa.

Sadly, Ind*a right now is the leader in human trafficking.

1.2 million young girls are involved in child prostitution.

900,000 people die each day from drinking unclean water.

Ind*a is considered the most religiously hostile region in the world when it comes to Christianity.

Every second someone in Ind*a dies without ever hearing about Jesus. Of 1.21 Billion people, over 1 billion have never heard the Gospel once. There are 500,000 villages without a pastor, church, Bible, or any Gospel presence.

* May 13th 2009- Received my (Brittnie) Passport in the mail.
*May 13th 2009- Second Homestudy interview
*May 5th 2009-Received Jeff's FBI/ABI clearance
*April 27th 2009- sent off for Jeff's passport
*April 23rd 2009- sent off for my passport
*April 23rd 2009- sent in Intl Contract and first program fee
*April 17th 2009- had physicals for medical forms
*April 15th 2009- First homestudy interview
*April 13, 2009 -Fingerprints done
*April 13th- Intl Agency Application Approved
*April 2009- putting documents together for Homestudy
*April 2009- signed with International Agency and Home Study Agency
April 1, 2009- Direction from the LORD to move forward with Adoption!
*Feb -Mar 2009-researching Home study and International Agencies
*January 29th 2009-Made Adoption announcement via the blog
*Waiting on the LORD for direction
*August 7th 2008- God gave us instruction to adopt
*March 2008-God began impressing Adoption on our hearts
